Introducing Our Brand and Launch Details
As mentioned in the previous article, we wanted to move away from the “Safemoon-AVAX” name due to several factors. Also, as expected, the Avalanche ecosystem has grown tremendously since our launch. We, as a team and community, have decided to solidify our foothold within the Avalanche ecosystem by creating our own brand with our own utility.
Introducing Glacier Launch
Glacier Launch is a premier launchpad IDO platform on the Avalanche network. This launchpad will empower investors and create a path for cryptocurrency projects to participate in and provide token sales for upcoming DeFi crypto projects.
$GLAC Token Airdrop
If you haven’t already, please refer to “The Future of Safemoon-AVAX” medium article which outlines the details of the token migration process.
The community has been vocal about the window of time given to send $SAFEMOONA tokens to the designated address for airdrop eligibility. We’ve extended the window of time several times and we’ll do it one more time…
This is the final deadline. No Exceptions. Seriously.
The cut-off for token migration is Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10 AM PST.
No tokens purchased AFTER the snapshot and sent AFTER the migration date will be eligible for the $GLAC airdrop.
The $GLAC airdrop will occur on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at a 1:1 Ratio. This means that if 1000 eligible $SAFEMOONA tokens were sent to the designated address, 1000 $GLAC tokens will be airdropped.
The contract will be deployed after the token migration cut-off on Saturday, December 18, 2021. A short medium article will be posted with the contract address, tokenomics, supply, and any other relevant details pertaining to the new $GLAC token.
Launch Date
As stated in “The Future of Safemoon-AVAX” article, 100% of $SAFEMOONA tokens sent to the designated address will be used to drain the liquidity from the current $SAFEMOONA contract.
This liquidity drain will occur on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Also, the liquidity that has been locked will be available to us on January 7, 2022.
Provided everything goes smoothly on Sunday, we will launch $GLAC on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2 PM PST with 100% of the liquidity from the liquidity drain. Once the locked liquidity is available, we will also add 100% of that to the $GLAC liquidity pool.
Launchpad
Prior to the launch of $GLAC, we will deploy our Launchpad. This way, we can have a working product on display during our launch.
If you haven’t already, please refer to the “SafeMoon-AVAX Tiered Launchpad Model” Medium article. The launchpad has been developed this way and will largely stay this way with a few added tweaks and UI adjustments.
Additionally, we’ve been approached by several projects and currently pending final confirmation.
